How does our chervil grow?

Actually, very well.

Here are some of our mature plants growing in our rock garden. You will note one important thing here. Chervil plants actually like a little shade.

Really, they like shade.

If you read the seed packets or books on the subject, they say that chervil likes to grow in full sun. Maybe it does, but not around here in Port Angeles. The plants we grew in full sun turned into shriveled little things, bare two inches tall. The plants we grew with some rock to shelter them grew much larger. We even had some chervil plants growing in between our bushy sage plants.

So, you might try full sun, or you might give your plants a little shelter.
